Mercado del Sol - a Spanish and Mediterranean restaurant has opened in St. Petersburg

The interior was handled by the designer Anastasia Khalchitskaya, known for the design of Grecco, The Repa and other establishments.

Mercado del Sol, the second joint project of Alena Melnikova and Mark Lapin, started working on Belinsky street, 5.

The space turned out to be bright, it was decorated with works of contemporary artists: Daniil Archipenko, Alisa Gorelova and other authors.

Mercado del Sol occupies two floors: on the second floor there is a restaurant and a bar with signature cocktails, on the first there is a cafe with breakfasts throughout the day.

Breakfast coffee is made from a specialty brand of its own roast. The restaurant's menu includes Spanish and Mediterranean dishes: for example, croquettes with ham and tapas with marbled beef. In addition, you can order positions with fish and seafood: the institution has installed a large display case for fish and aquariums for seafood.
