New food hall “Citizens” will be open soon in the Gostiny Dvor in Saint Petersburg, Russia

In the part of the Gostiny Dvor along the Lomonosovskaya line, a 1800 sq. M. Food hall "Citizens" will soon appear. m - now the outer part of the first floor is decorated with posters of the main enthusiasts of Russia: from Catherine II to Pavel Durov.

What will the future food space be like? A food hall is planned on the ground floor, which is positioned as a space for enthusiasts - small projects that are not yet represented anywhere, or concepts that are not yet available anywhere. The creators want, that being in "Citizens" there was no feeling that you are in Eat Market or City food. There will be raclette, Portuguese cuisine, Uyghur stall with Chinese cuisine from Lanzhou city (Gansu province).

"Of course, we will take a certain number of well-known players, but in general we will focus on those who consider themselves enthusiastic. There are 22 kiosks in total, and it is impossible to find 22 unique products, but we strive."

On the second floor, a space is planned with 6 rooms connected by a single corridor. Each of the 6 spaces will house a restaurant, 120-150 meters long, each with its own seating position and its own service. It is also supposed to be a street area - a balcony on the second floor, this is a large gallery-balcony also with a landing that looks at Lomonosov Street.

There are no signed residents yet, while negotiations are underway: "we have selected about 20 restaurant groups with whom we would like to do something. While we are looking at the configuration, who has what ideas."
