IN 2013, AEROEXPRESS IN ST.PETERSBURG SHOULD RUN BETWEEN THE BALTIC RAILWAY STATION AND THE AIRPORT "PULKOVO".
In two year’s time, it will become much easier to get to Pulkovo airport. St. Petersburg authorities plan to implement at once two large-scale projects — a light metro from the Moscow railway station and launch of Aeroexpress from the Baltic railway station. Principle decision on the establishment of railway communication between the latter and the airport has been taken.
As reported by the Committee on Investments and Strategic Projects the travel time from the Baltic railway to the station «Pulkovo» will take from 18 to 20 minutes, and the interval between trains will be 15 minutes.
The connection between Pulkovo and the Baltic Railway Station will be direct and nonstop. At the same time, most likely, bus shelters at the airport will be united both for the Railways project, and for light metro rail, which will lead from the Moscow railway station to the airport and will be commissioned before the end of 2013.
