RUSSIA IS TO HOST THE SUMMER SESSION OF THE ICCA CENTRAL EUROPEAN CHAPTER FOR THE FIRST TIME01.08.2013
One of the biggest ICCA chapter’s meeting will be focused on education and sharing experience. During the event attendees will have a chance to get more information on Russian meeting industry. Events companies based in Russia will share their experience in organizing conferences, congresses and other events. For agencies and meeting planners from Europe and other part of the world Russian market is still unknown and unexplored.
Other topics to be discussed during the meeting:
— How to gain sponsor? (experience and solutions)
— Museums and others cultural venues’ role in developing meeting industry
— Safety of event participants (experiences in working with security organs)
— How to make meetings more effective for delegates?
Anna Gorska, ICCA CEC Chairperson (Gdansk Convention Bureau/Gdansk Tourism Organisation CEO): «I am sure than an attractive education programme will encourage ICCA CEC members to take part in the meeting. It is also great opportunity to meet face to face, share experience and discuss opportunity to cooperate in the future».
Organizers will also provide participants attractive social programme including Boat Tour of Rivers and Canals of St. Petersburg, visiting Peter and Paul Fortress or sightseeing historical Pushkin District.
There are more than 150 members in ICCA Central European Chapter (from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Estonia and Latvia. Anna Gorska is the ICCA CEC Chairperson since 2012.
